Researcher CNRS/IES
Luigi Dilillo received his master's degree in Electronic Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino, Italy, in 2001, with specialization in Microelectronics. He received his Ph.D. degree in Information, Structures, and Systems from the University of Montpellier, France, in 2005. He did a post-doc at the University of Southampton, United Kingdom, from 2005 to 2007. He is currently a researcher and leader of RADIAC team at IES (University of Montpellier).
The RADIAC
team (RADIAtion and Components) was created over 40 years ago to handle the needs of electronics reliability
in radiation environments. RADIAC plays a key role in the international scientific and industrial communmity
for the radiation related studies since it was at the origin of the RADECS association and continues to contribute
to its development as well as to major European projects and actions such as RADSAGA, RADNEXT, RADMEP master.
Today, thanks to the expertise of its team members in the fields of materials, solids physics, radiation interaction, devices and electronic systems, the RADIAC team hold all competences for understanding and explaining the issues associated with electronics dependability, and to offer solutions to the industry to improve the reliability of electronic products for space, avionics, defense, large acceleration facilities, automotive, medical and energy. The work of the RADIAC team covers four main themes:
